ITINERARY - LET'S GO!

DAY 1:
We are all in Reykjavik!
Are you ready for this new adventure? We remind you that you manage the flights in complete autonomy and today we are all waiting for you in Reykjavik! Once we arrive at the structure we will check-in and take the opportunity to do a nice shopping and organize dinners in the hostel and if luck is on our side we will be able to spot the aurora from our first night.

DAY 2:
The Snaefellsnes Peninsula
Ready Set Go! We head to the magical Snaefellsnes Peninsula full of breathtaking views and very different landscapes. The first stop of the day will be Búðir, here is a very special church, built in black wood and set among the lava fields of Buðahraun. After taking some photos, we will head towards Arnarstapi and take the famous coastal trek that connects this village with Hellnar. The walk takes about forty minutes and will allow us to walk along the rugged coast, crossing lava fields, caves now eroded by the wind and stone arches. We will continue our tour along the coast admiring the brightly colored lighthouses that are found along it, we arrive at Grundarfjordur. Here stands the Kirkjufell, a mountain with a very particular conical shape and a little less than 500m high, the Kirkjufellfoss waterfall is right in front of it and helps to give this place a fairy and undoubtedly magical air. We will return to the south for an overnight stay in Borgarnes and of course we will go hunting for the Northern Lights.

DAY 3:

Golden Circle, a spectacle of nature!
We will dedicate this day to exploring the very famous Golden Circle and its main attractions, not far from each other and close to the capital: Þingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss. Þingvellir National Park is known for being the place where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates converge; these two terrestrial plates move away from 1 to 18 millimeters each year and over time have given rise to several faults, the largest canyon is definitely that of Almannagjá. Walking at the base of the canyon and following the park's marked trails we will reach all points of interest. Access to the geyser area is free offer, here Stokkur, one of the most spectacular geysers, emits a jet of water every 5/10 minutes that can reach 30 meters in height. And finally Gullfoss, the most famous waterfall in Iceland, characterized by a spectacular double jump, capable of creating a wall of very high sprays that turn into rainbows on sunny days. Overnight in the surroundings.

DAY 4:

Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls up to Vik
This morning we will go in the direction of Vik, the southernmost city in Iceland, but before we arrive at our destination, amazing places await us! Our first stop will be at Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. Both with their particularities are among the main attractions of the country. From here we will then go to visit the carcass of the abandoned plane on the beach of Sólheimasandur, which can be easily reached on foot in about thirty minutes from the parking lot. In a few minutes from here we will reach the rocky headland of Dyrholaey, which offers incredible views of the south coast. Back in our cars we will head towards Vik, an excellent starting point to visit the splendid Reynisfjara black sand beach. As every day on our return we will try to spot the Northern Lights, let's not give up!

DAY 5:

Vatnajökull National Park, the largest in Europe
Goodmorning everyone! Today we will head east towards Jökulsárlón, the beautiful glacial lagoon in Vatnajokull National Park. On the way to the frozen lagoon you can see the imposing tongue of ice that descends from the Vatnajökull glacier, a wonder of nature, and once we arrive at our destination we will drive towards the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, here we will find icebergs that triumph with their beauty and their extraordinary colors even in summer, from deep blue to turquoise, from white to yellow (due to volcanic substances), transparent and even black. A natural spectacle that makes the landscape truly impressive. Overnight nearby.

DAY 6:

The Horns of the Icelandic Mountains and Vestrahorn Mountain
We will continue our journey east where we can admire the horny mountains of this area. The Vestrahorn in particular, much loved by photographers, is one of the most photographed mountains in Iceland. Located on the Stokksnes Peninsula, the whole area is magical with its steep slopes reaching a flat lagoon, black sand beach and small black dunes. This natural wonder is one of the most beautiful Icelandic landscapes. We will return to Vik for overnight.

DAY 7:

Blue Lagoon
Before returning to the capital, we thought that the best way to end this incredible journey was to spend a full day immersed in the thermal water of the Blue Lagoons. Staying in this lagoon of very hot, blue and milky water, set in the lava field, with the face smeared with a silica mask and a skyr smoothie in hand, is an experience to do at least once in a lifetime!

DAY 8:

Hello everyone, we will see you on the next trip
