CABO GIRÃO Skywalk - CÂMARA DE LOBOS - FUNCHAL + Relaxing Afternoon
Today we are going to discover the south coast starting from the Cabo Girão Skywalk, a spectacular panoramic glass terrace almost 600 meters above the cliff. Consider that it is the highest cliff sky walk in Europe and the second in the world. From here the view is breathtaking. We continue to Camara de Lobos, a fishing village famous for black swordfish fishing, the production of Madeira wine and Poncha, a mixture of lemon juice, liqueur and honey. For lunch we will stop in Funchal to taste the local specialties (free lunch). Return to our accommodation for a relaxing afternoon. Free dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3:
TERREIRO DA LUTA - PICO DO AREIRO- SANTANA - Miradouro do Guindaste - Miradouro de Portela - PONTA SAO LORENCO - MACHICO
Ready to discover the wonderful landscapes of the eastern part of Madeira. First stop is the splendid viewpoint of Terreiro da Luta, not very far from Funchal. We will then continue towards the famous and majestic Pico do Arieiro. At 1,818 meters high, it is the third highest peak on the island and offers incredible panoramic views. We will stop at the Miradouro de Juncal, from which to observe Madeira from above in all its splendor. We will then go back down through the forest on the coastal road. We will pass through villages with traditional thatched houses. We will stop in Santana, a village famous for its triangular-shaped and thatched houses. We will continue along the coast and make a stop at Miradouro do Guindaste. Another noteworthy panoramic point is the Miradouro de Portela. We will then reach the Ponta de São Lourenço, the eastern end of Madeira, a unique place where the ocean, rock formations and nature meet. Stop at the Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto for a postcard photo of Madeira. Final stop of the magical day will be Machico, an incredible panoramic point from which you can admire the bay with its splendid golden sandy beaches. Return to our accommodation. Free dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4:
PONTA DO SOL - Photo Stop DOS ANJOS WATERFALL - FANAL FOREST - BICA DA CANA - PONTA DO SOL
Today we leave for a new adventure. Before reaching our destination, we will stop to admire the famous Cascade dos Anjos. We will then continue towards the suggestive Fanal forest (Posto Florestal do Fanal) unique for its centenary trees. Its peculiarity is the fog which creates a magical and surreal atmosphere. We will take the opportunity to take a walk of about 10 km (average duration 2/3 hours) in this beautiful environment. We continue towards Bica da Cana, the largest panoramic point in Madeira. From here we will have an enchanting view above the clouds. Return to our accommodation. Free dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5:
CATAMARAN CRUISE WITH DOLPHIN AND WHALE WATCHING + Relaxing afternoon
Today is dedicated to an excursion in the morning (approx. 10:00 - 13:00) on a catamaran for one of the most beautiful experiences on the island: searching for dolphins and whales. We will depart from Funchal with our eco-friendly, purpose-built vessel in 2022, for a tour along the southern coast of the island of Madeira. If we are lucky we will be able to see dolphins, whales, turtles and ocean birds. On the way back, we will pass close to the coast passing many points of interest such as Cabo Girão, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of one of the highest cliffs in the world, Camara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village, and the famous Reid's Hotel where Winston Churchill stayed during his visits to the island of Madeira. Please note: Madeira is a world-class dolphin and whale watching destination, but because they are wild and free, it is simply not possible to guarantee seeing cetaceans on every tour. Return to our accommodation for a relaxing afternoon. Free dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 6:
SÃO VICENTE - Véu da Noiva viewpoint - RIBERA DE JANELA stacks - Natural swimming pools of PORTO MONIZ - CALHETA (Relax Beach)

We will pass through São Vicente, famous for its caves and the Volcanism Center (entrance fees not included). Short panoramic stop at the Véu da Noiva viewpoint. We will stop in Ribera de Janela to admire the famous window-shaped rock. We will continue to Porto Moniz, a town known for its natural pools of volcanic origin where we can cool off. Free lunch. Next stop is the town of Calheta famous for its golden sandy beach. We will also take the opportunity to stop at the "Engenho da Calheta" distillery and taste the famous Aguardente white rum, which is the basis of Poncha. Return to our accommodation. Free dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 7:
RELAX DAY or OPTIONAL TREKKING to the PORTUGUESE AMAZONIA
Day dedicated to relaxation or, for those who want, trekking to discover the Portuguese Amazon, a beautiful tropical forest where you can do various treks, the most beautiful is the one that reaches two calderas that hide a waterfall. Attention: the length of the trek is 6 km, one way, and is of medium difficulty. Return to our accommodation. Free dinner and overnight stay.
