WHAT TO DO in LEDRO VALLEY
If you are in Valle di Ledro you cannot miss a visit, with tasting, to the Leder Brewery, in Pieve di Ledro. Here beers are handcrafted with pure Alpine spring water and of Bohemian inspiration. In fact, during the First World War the Ledro population was evacuated to Bohemia where the women learned the local methods for producing beer. So the Leder brewery was born, thanks to the passion of Fabrizio, the master brewer, and his family who revive this tradition every day. The types of beer produced are various, all with the name of a location in the Ledro Valley. We fell in love with the Ponale, fresh, light and with fruity notes and the Christmas Ale, designed for the Christmas period with honey and ginger, very good. If you are a beer lover, take a look at their online shop.
The Ledro Valley is perfect for trekking lovers. We have already told you about some routes, but there are so many possibilities. Don't miss, for example, the climb to Punta Larici for a spectacular view of Lake Garda or the excursion to Cima Parì, the highest in the Ledro Valley, although a little more challenging. For a spectacular view of the lake and the entire valley, climb to the top of Monte Corno. It takes more than six hours to walk but it's really worth it.
