Welcome to Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite in Bardolino, on the Verona side of Lake Garda. A beautiful hotel where attention to details, a helpful staff, swimming pools and wellness area will make you forget the stress of everyday life. Do you know how it feels in a family? Pampered, spoiled and at ease ... well, we felt this way from the beginning to the end of our weekend in this fantastic structure.
Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite is a structure ecological friendly and therefore with a low environmental impact. The hotel has also obtained the ClimaHotel certification, a seal of quality for conscious tourism. Covering an area of 17,000 m², it develops around a water park that includes a total of 8 swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, a 1,000 m² Spa & Wellness area including a gym (with Personal Trainer available), a massage center, different saunas and a Turkish bath.

We do not want to decribe the details you can find directly on the site of the structure (for more info click here). Rather, we want to talk about the beautiful weekend we spent thanks to Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite and its staff.
You can breathe the elegant and friendly atmosphere which marks this hotel as soon as you cross the entrance. We are greeted by the smile and friendliness of the girls at the reception who immediately offer us a glass of good prosecco (conquering us immediately!). After the quick check-in procedures (with related Anti-Covid procedures), we are escorted to suite no. 512. The door opens and we are simply breathless. A 50 sqm Garden Suite with two balconies, separate living room, large bathroom and bedroom with a huge bed. The Garden Suites of Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suites are located in a separate building, as if they were villas that directly overlook the pools in the center of the structure. The fruit basket found on our arrival made us immediately understand the attention paid to the customer. The care to every detail is perceived at every corner.
In addition to the Comfort Rooms and Aqua Rooms (with Swimming Pool view) which are the most numerous in the structure, we also find 18 Suites that are divided between Garden and Round (those with the round bed that made us fall in love at first sight). We were lucky to be able to visit and get to know the structure with Elisa, PR & Marketing Manager who made us appreciate every detail. The strong point (one of many) of Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite is the large water park consisting of eight indoor and outdoor pools of natural mineral water, surrounded by a large and well-kept garden where you can relax in the sun. Whirlpools, water jets, swimming pools for the little ones .. nothing is missing. Even a whirlpool suspended in a large bowl that reminded us of a champagne glass.
If the love at first sight for Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite had already taken place, the Wellness area definitely made us falling in love. The doors of paradise are open to us: three saunas, a Turkish bath, a calidarium and an area reserved for women with sauna and Turkish bath as well as an exclusive Private Spa. Relaxation and privacy reign supreme here. Describing it in words would be an understatement, we show you some pictures that we took.
The great reception of Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite has given us two 50-minute body massages .. what to say? We came out completely regenerated and recharged.
As if all this were not enough, we have not yet talked about cooking (those who follow us know how much we love this aspect when we are traveling). At Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite "the experience at the table becomes a passionate culinary journey", one could not use more suitable words! Each course we tasted was a pleasure for the eyes and an explosion of flavors for the palate. If you have the opportunity, try the black spaghetti with seafood and broccoli tops ... a real delicacy!
The Aqualux restaurants are two: Italian Taste (which we have talked about extensively in the stories ig) dedicated to the hotel clientele and Evo Bardolino also open for those who do not live directly in the structure.
The research and attention to raw materials with a propensity for local products comes from every dish. Just note that the oil used is from their own production (to find out more, check out our Map'Advisor • OIL SHOP OLIO VIOLA).
They also presented us with the recent project of Aqualux Thermae, the spa of Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite which offers balneotherapy treatments with and without hydromassage with bacteriologically pure water that flows from a depth of over 300 meters. It is particularly rich in calcium, magnesium and bicarbonates which give it ideal therapeutic properties to treat dermatological pathologies.
