We stayed at the BOMA Easy Living Hotel on the occasion of our collaboration with the Strasbourg Tourist Office to discover this magnificent city.

Nous avons séjourné au BOMA Easy Living Hotel à l'occasion de notre collaboration avec l'Office de Tourisme de Strasbourg pour découvrir cette magnifique ville.

The first thing that impressioned us about this hotel was its centrality. Located in Rue du 22 Novembre, very close to one of the most beautiful and famous areas of Strasbourg (and our favorite), the Petite France and to the whole old part of the city where the main tourist attractions are located.

La première chose qui nous a frappé dans cet hôtel était sa centralité. Situé rue du 22 novembre, tout près de l'un des plus beaux et célèbres quartiers de Strasbourg (et notre préféré), de la Petite France et de toute le centre historique où se trouvent les principales attractions touristiques.

As soon as you cross the front door you will feel the welcoming, elegant and modern atmosphere of the structure. Instead of the classic reception counter there are large tablets for self-check in. But don't worry, in case of need there is always someone on the staff ready to help you.

Hurry up with the check-in procedures (very fast) we call the elevator to go to our room. Entering the elevator it seems to have been catapulted to Africa: all the walls are covered with images of Masai in their beautiful and colorful traditional costumes.

We didn't immediately understand why. Shortly after, however, we discover that "BOMA" in Africa is the term to define an enclosed space to protect the inhabitants and the animals that live within it. And this is precisely the philosophy on which the Boma Hotel is based: to be a welcoming space where you can stay, rest, meet, eat and so on.

In fact, the sensation that is perceived when entering is this. Modern design mixed with ethnic elements, refined and elegant environments, a large restaurant-bar room and beautiful rooms furnished with style.

Dès que vous franchissez la porte d'entrée, vous percevrez l'atmosphère accueillante, élégante et moderne de la structure. Pensez qu'au lieu du comptoir d'accueil classique, il existe de grandes tablets pour l'enregistrement automatique. Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, en cas de besoin, il y a toujours quelqu'un dans le personnel prêt à vous aider.

Dépêchées les procédures d'enregistrement (très rapides), on prend ascenseur pour aller dans notre chambre. Une fois à l'intérieur de l'ascenseur, on a l'impression d'avoir été catapulté en Afrique: tous les murs sont recouverts d'images de Masaï dans leurs beaux costumes traditionnels colorés.

Nous n'avons pas compris immédiatement pourquoi. Peu de temps après, cependant, on découvre que «BOMA» en Afrique est le terme pour définir un espace clos pour protéger les habitants et les animaux qui y vivent. Et c'est précisément la philosophie sur laquelle se base le Boma Hotel: être un espace accueillant où l'on peut séjourner, se reposer, se retrouver, manger, etc.

En fait, la sensation perçue en entrant est la suivante. Design moderne mélangé avec des éléments ethniques, des environnements raffinés et élégants, une grande salle de restaurant-bar et de belles chambres meublées avec style.

In total the rooms at the BOMA Easy Living Hotel are 103, all furnished with bright colors and graphic decorations that recall Africa. The balcony of our room looked directly over the center of Strasbourg (you could even see the cathedral).

Au total, les chambres du BOMA Easy Living Hotel sont 103, toutes meublées avec des couleurs vives et des décorations graphiques qui rappellent l'Afrique. Le balcon de notre chambre donnait directement sur le centre de Strasbourg (on pouvait même voir la cathédrale).

Last but not least, breakfast: in the morning a beautiful sweet and savory buffet awaits you with a great variety of products. Surely the best way to start a day discovering Strasbourg and its wonders.
