We can finally tell you about our beautiful region, Trentino - Alto Adige. Specifically, this time we went beyond Merano, in Val Venosta, and we were guests of the Hotel Paradies in Laces. A beautiful five-star hotel nestled among the apple orchards of the valley, managed by the Pirhofer family.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Patricia, daughter of Annemarie and Georg Pirhofer, dressed in a classic and beautiful South Tyrolean dress. Patricia's kindness and courtesy made us feel immediately at home.
Endlich können wir ihr von unserer wunderschönen Region Trentino - Südtirol erzählen. Diesmal gingen wir über Meran hinaus ins Vinschgau und waren Gäste des Hotel Paradies in Laces. Ein wunderschönes Fünf-Sterne-Hotel inmitten der Apfelplantagen des Tals, das von der Familie Pirhofer geführt wird.
Als wir im Hotel ankamen, wurden wir von Patricia, der Tochter von Annemarie und Georg Pirhofer, in einem klassischen und wunderschönen Südtiroler Kleid begrüßt. Durch die Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit von Patricia fühlten wir uns sofort wie zu Hause.
Arriving around lunchtime, Patricia as an excellent hostess reserved us a table at the Paradies restaurant, where we know Riccardo who will accompany us with great cordiality in the description of the courses during lunch.
We are served the gourmet dishes of chef Andreas Wunderer in which the South Tyrolean tradition blends with innovative and international characters. We won't describe here every single course, but believe us if we tell you that we have rarely eaten so well. And since the eye also wants its part, let some of the photographs we have taken speak for us.
Gegen Mittag angekommen, reservierte Patricia als ausgezeichnete Gastgeberin einen Tisch für uns im Restaurant Paradies, wo wir Riccardo kennen, der uns beim Mittagessen mit großer Herzlichkeit bei der Beschreibung der Gerichte begleiten wird.
Wir probieren die Gourmetgerichte von Küchenchef Andreas Wunderer, in denen sich die Südtiroler Tradition mit innovativen und internationalen Charakteren verbindet. Wir sind nicht hier, um jeden einzelnen Kurs zu beschreiben, aber glaubt ihr uns, wenn wir ihr sagen, dass wir selten so gut gegessen haben. Und da das Auge auch seinen Teil haben möchte, lassen wir einige der Fotos, die wir gemacht haben, für uns sprechen.
Unfortunately we leave Riccardo and the gastronomic wonders of the restaurant, but it is time to discover the room that Patricia and the Paradies hotel have reserved for us. It is difficult to express with words the amazement we felt when the door of room number 309 was opened: a large suite with a glass window that makes the gaze wander over the wonderful landscape of Val Venosta and its apple orchards. But that's not all! In front of the bed, in the center of the room, there is a beautiful and modern bathtub.
Here at the Hotel Paradies they make us feel spoiled and pampered right away: just think that in the room we found a framed photo of us. An original gesture of attention and concern for the customer who surprised us and made us immense pleasure. We are not used to be welcomed this way everyday!
Leider verlassen wir Riccardo und die gastronomischen Wunder des Restaurants, aber es ist die Zeit, das Zimmer zu entdecken, das Patricia und das Paradies Hotel für uns reserviert haben. Es ist schwierig, das Erstaunen auszudrücken, das wir empfanden, als die Tür zu Zimmer Nr. 309 geöffnet wurde: eine große Suite mit Panamorafenster, durch die wir einen Blick auf die wunderschöne Landschaft des Vinschgau und seiner Apfelplantagen werfen können. Hier im Hotel Paradies haben wir uns sofort verwöhnt gefühlt: Denkt ihr, dass wir im Zimmer ein gerahmtes Foto von uns gefunden haben. Eine originelle Geste der Aufmerksamkeit und Sorge für den Kunden, der uns überrascht und uns große Freude bereitet hat. Es ist nicht jeden Tag, dass wir auf diese Weise begrüßt werden!
We don't even have time to get used to the luxury of our room, that is already time to eat ... again! Oh yes, in South Tyrol the afternoon snack is sacred and therefore a fantastic snack with dessert buffet is served.
Wir beginnen, uns an den Luxus unseres Zimmers zu gewöhnen, dass schon Zeit zum Essen noch einmal ist! Oh ja, in Südtirol ist der Nachmittagssnack heilig und daher wird ein fantastischer Snack mit Dessertbuffet serviert.
Do you want to explore the mountains surrounding the Val Venosta? In the Paradies room there is also a beautiful Salewa backpack ready to escort you on your trekking (we found it a really brilliant idea!). Do you prefer cycling ? No problem, the Hotel Paradies has a large bike park (mountain bikes, city bikes and bikes for children) available for rent. You will no longer have excuses for not starting to explore Val Venosta.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to stay in the hotel to enjoy well-deserved relaxation, in addition to the immense Wellness Area, here at Paradies you can dedicate yourself to yoga thanks to the courses of Marilena Pirhofer.
Möchtet ihr die Berge rund um das Vinschgau erkunden? Im Paradies-Raum gibt es auch einen wunderschönen Salewa-Rucksack, der ihr auf eurem Trekking begleitet (wir fanden es eine wirklich geniale Idee!). Liebt ihr mehr Radfahren? Kein Problem, im Hotel Paradies kann ein großer Fahrradpark (Mountainbikes, Citybikes, Bikes für Kinder) gemietet werden. Ihr werdet keine Ausreden mehr haben, das Val Venosta nicht zu erkunden. Wenn ihr es vorziehen, im Hotel zu bleiben, um die wohlverdiente Entspannung zu genießen, könnt ihr euch hier bei Paradies dank der Kurse von Marilena Pirhofer neben dem riesigen Wellnessbereich dem Yoga widmen.
Describing in detail the size and beauty of the Wellness Area and swimming pools it would take at least two or three more articles. A real oasis of peace and relaxation where luxury and attention to detail reign supreme. In addition to the outdoor swimming pools (including a jacuzzi and a pool with slide for children) and the indoor one, the Wellness center includes saunas, relaxation areas, a fitness area and much more. But it is the Adults only Silence Spa Garden that has bewitched us.
Going through the door of this area of the Paradies is like entering a world apart, where relaxation, well-being and self-care are the keywords. Here you will find a panoramic (huge) sauna, a fresh water bath, a bio sauna, a steam bath, a swimming pool with heated salt water, infrared beds and relaxation areas. Puns should be avoided, but this time it is appropriate to say: a Paradise.
Um die Größe und Schönheit der Wellnessarea und der Schwimmbäder im Detail zu beschreiben, wären mindestens zwei oder drei weitere Artikel erforderlich. Eine echte Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung, in der Luxus und Liebe zum Detail oberste Priorität haben. Neben den Außenpools (einschließlich eines Whirlpools und eines Pools mit Rutsche für Kinder) und des Innenpools umfasst das Wellnesscenter Saunen, Ruhebereiche, einen Fitnessbereich und vieles mehr. Aber es ist der Silence Spa Garden nur für Erwachsene, der uns verzaubert hat. Durch die Tür dieses Bereichs der Paradies zu gehen ist wie eine Welt für sich zu betreten, in der Entspannung, Wohlbefinden und Selbstpflege die Schlüsselwörter sind. Hier findet ihr eine (riesige) Panoramasauna, einen Süßwasserpool, eine Biosauna, ein Dampfbad, einen beheizten Salzwasserpool, Infrarotbetten und Ruhebereiche. Wortspiele sollten vermieden werden, aber diesmal ist es angebracht, es zu sagen: ein Paradies.

A destination for families, lovers of tranquility and sportsmen, where each guest can feel free to give their days the shape they prefer. In this way an oasis was born which welcomes with respect for the private dimension". These are the words of the Pirhofer family. And that's right, the Hotel Paradies knows how to welcome customers with different needs and pamper them from their arrival to the moment of departure. Just like Patricia and all the staff did with us. Thanks to them for a weekend we ran away from everyday life and we were welcomed in this oasis of well-being.
Relaxation and luxury are the keywords to describe the Paradies. Never before has the name of the structure been more suitable: Paradise in name and in fact.
"Mit Paradies wollten wir eine Welt schaffen, die weit vom Alltag entfernt ist. Ein Ziel für Familien, Liebhaber von Ruhe und Sportler, in dem jeder Gast seinen Tagen die Form geben kann, die er bevorzugt. Auf diese Weise wurde eine Oase geboren das begrüßt in Bezug auf die private Dimension". Dies sind die Worte der Familie Pirhofer. Und das ist richtig, das Hotel Paradies weiß, wie man Kunden mit unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen willkommen heißt und sie von ihrer Ankunft bis zum Moment der Abreise verwöhnt. Genau wie Patricia und alle Angestellten mit uns. Dank ihnen für ein Wochenende sind wir dem Alltag entkommen und wurden in dieser Oase des Wohlbefindens begrüßt.
Entspannung und Luxus sind die Schlüsselwörter, um die Paradies zu beschreiben. Nie zuvor war der Name der Struktur so passend: Paradies im Namen und in der Tat.
