After a busy summer, it was time to give us a few days of relaxation and well-being in our beloved mountains. This is why we chose the Faloria Mountain SPA Resort in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Queen of the Dolomites. An elegant 5-star hotel located in the shadow of Mount Faloria.
Nach einem arbeitsreichen Sommer war es an der Zeit, uns ein paar Tage Entspannung und Wohlbefinden in unseren geliebten Bergen zu schenken. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns für das Faloria Mountain SPA Resort in Cortina d'Ampezzo, der Königin der Dolomiten, entschieden. Ein elegantes 5-Sterne-Hotel im Schatten des Berges Faloria.
Elegance and Wellness are the keywords to best describe the Faloria Mountain Spa & Resort. From the Nordic-style façade, which recalls the shape of the mountains, the class atmosphere that reigns inside is perceived from the moment you arrive.
We are welcomed with extreme kindness and courtesy by the staff at the reception and taken to our room, number 121. An elegant and essential style distinguishes each room of this hotel. Elegance yes, but without overdoing it. The right mix of elements that remind us of the warm atmosphere of mountain houses. The bathroom with a beautiful free-standing bathtub and ready-to-drink mini cocktails instead of the usual minibar are the elements that won us over.
Eleganz und Wellness sind die Schlagworte, die das Faloria Mountain Spa & Resort am besten beschreiben. Von der Fassade im nordischen Stil, die an die Form der Berge erinnert, wird die stilvolle Atmosphäre, die im Inneren herrscht, vom ersten Moment an wahrgenommen.
Wir werden vom Personal an der Rezeption mit äußerster Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit empfangen und in unser Zimmer Nr. 121 geführt. Ein eleganter und essentieller Stil zeichnet jedes Zimmer dieses Hotels aus. Eleganz ja, aber ohne es zu übertreiben. Die richtige Mischung aus Elementen, die uns an die warme Atmosphäre von Berghäusern erinnern. Das Badezimmer mit schöner freistehender Badewanne und trinkfertigen Mini-Cocktails statt der üblichen Minibar sind die Elemente, die uns überzeugt haben.
The real highlight of the Faloria Mountain Spa & Resort is the SPA and Wellness Area. Over 1000 square meters with Finnish sauna, relax area and a semi-Olympic swimming pool (we had never seen such a large one in any of the structures we stayed in) illuminated by a beautiful natural light and surrounded by many private niches where you can enjoy a little to relax in total privacy. The offer of the Wellness area is mixed with an indoor and outdoor heated whirlpool tub, perfect for enjoying autumn and winter days.
Das eigentliche Highlight des Faloria Mountain Spa & Resort ist der SPA- und Wellnessbereich. Über 1000 Quadratmeter mit finnischer Sauna, Ruhebereich und einem halbolympischen Schwimmbad (ein so großes hatten wir noch nie in einem der Gebäude, in denen wir übernachtet haben), beleuchtet von einem schönen natürlichen Licht und umgeben von vielen privaten Nischen, in denen du dich entspannen können. Das Angebot des Wellnessbereichs schließt mit einem beheizten Whirlpool im Innen- und Außenbereich ab, perfekt um Herbst- und Wintertage zu genießen.
We were lucky enough to try the massages offered here at Faloria. An hour of treatment that has completely regenerated us. In particular, the sound massage with the Tibetan Bells was a pleasant discovery (Marco got so carried away that he fell asleep!).
Wir hatten das Glück, die hier bei Faloria angebotenen Massagen auszuprobieren. Eine Behandlungsstunde, die uns komplett regeneriert hat. Besonders die Klangmassage mit den tibetischen Glocken war eine angenehme Entdeckung (Marco war so hingerissen, dass er einschlief!).
Last, but not least, the cuisine of chef Giovanni Gagliardo. Dishes with attention to the smallest detail (because even the eye wants its part) and at the same time delicious. Without forgetting the impeccable and cordial service of all the guys in the room who made us spend a very pleasant evening.
Und dann.. die Küche von Küchenchef Giovanni Gagliardo. Gerichte mit Liebe zum kleinsten Detail (denn auch das Auge will sein Teil) und gleichzeitig lecker. Ohne den exzellenten und herzlichen Service aller Jungs im Zimmer zu vergessen, die uns einen sehr angenehmen Abend verbracht haben.
