Anyone who knows us knows how much we love Street Art, and if we combine the experience of travel, the well-being of a hotel and the latter, then the result is something unique.
Welcome to the Muraless Art Hotel, a hotel just outside Verona in Castel d'Azzano, which has put Urban Art at the center of everything.
It is a brand new hotel completely renovated in 2022, a real journey through Italian art and culture. Here, Italian excellence is enhanced to the maximum through the works of some of the most famous street artists in the world.
In the hotel you will find 94 rooms painted by the best Italian Street Artists, who have represented the true essence of our country, with rooms inspired by art, music, cinema, food and wine, engines, science and fashion. The main facade instead is the work of the famous international artist Mr. Brainwash.
We were lucky enough to stay here on the occasion of its inauguration, an event attended by famous artists and people from the show business.
The hotel's 94 rooms are arranged over 4 floors, and there are 6 wheelchair accessible rooms. The hotel has a lobby, lift, bar and breakfast room. There is also a very convenient free car park and an underground garage. In fact, the hotel is mainly intended for a business and bleisure clientele, and was born from the redeveloped former Hotel Cristallo.
It is really a new type of hospitality based on beauty, emotion and creativity. The works of the Street Artists, so different from each other, make the rooms unique. In fact, in the rooms each artist was able to define the chosen theme with the use of the technique closest to him.
For this very important project curated by Chiara Canali, 50 of the best Street Artists on a national and international level were involved. The real goal of Muralless Art Hotel is precisely to make Street Art understood in a more universal way and make it accessible to everyone.
In addition to the unique rooms, the highlight of the hotel is the rich sweet and savory breakfast which is served from 07:00 to 10:00. During the day and in the evening it is also possible to access the lounge, where you can sip a good glass of local wine or a cocktail for a real Venetian aperitif.
We had the opportunity to sleep in the room dedicated to Gucci!
But what is the real goal of Muraless Art Hotel? “Aiming to be a real 360° temple of street art”, as the organizers underline, “a museum dedicated to urban art and its main Italian protagonists”.
