The New SKYWALK of MONTE MEZZOCORONA in the PIANA ROTALIANA
Today we take you to discover the great novelty of Trentino. We are on Monte di Mezzocorona, in the province of Trento, on the Skywalk overhanging the Piana Rotaliana and its vineyards. A panoramic walkway at a height of 900 meters, recently inaugurated, which gives a great dose of adrenaline to those who walk along it.

HOW TO REACH and GET TO the MONTE MEZZOCORONA SKYWALK
The Skywalk can be reached in various ways. The easiest and fastest way is the Monte di Mezzocorona cable car which reaches the top of the mountain from the town of Mezzocorona in just three minutes at a cost of 8 euros (round trip). Already the ascent by cable car can be considered an experience to do. Just think that the Monte di Mezzocorona cable car is among the steepest in Europe. The Skywalk on Monte di Mezzocorona can also be reached on foot by following the SAT 500 path (difficulty EE, Path for Expert Hikers) which from the town of Mezzocorona, next to the station, leads to the top with a route of just under three kilometers and a height difference of 672 meters (journey time about one hour and 45 min).
Monte di Mezzocorona can also be climbed following the via ferrata Burrone Giovanelli (SAT 505) which from the town of Mezzocorona leads between the walls of Monte di Mezzocorona up to its summit.
Another possible way to reach the Monte di Mezzocorona Skywalk is the Strada delle Longhe, a paved road that always starts from Ischia and leads to the top in just over two hours.
WHERE TO PARK to see the MONTE MEZZOCORONA SKYWALK
To go up to the Skywalk you can park your car directly outside the cable car station (paid parking). Furthermore, from 1 May 2023 to 1 November 2023, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, you can take advantage of the free shuttle service to reach the departure point of the cable car, leaving your car in a special car park just outside Mezzocorona. HOW LONG TO GO TO SEE the MONTE MEZZOCORONA SKYWALK
Going up with the cable car is very fast. In just 3 minutes you are on the top of Monte di Mezzocorona and you can reach the Skywalk in less than two minutes of walking along a path that is illuminated even at night. Those who go up along the SAT500 path arrive at the Cross in just under two hours of walking, with beautiful views of the valley and the mountains that surround it, and from there they continue for a few hundred meters until they find themselves in front of the wonder of the Skywalk.

The best time to see the Skywalk is certainly spring and summer when the days get longer and on top of Monte di Mezzocorona you can find relief from the heat of the valley floor.
