USEFUL TIPS for BOOKING TRAINS in CHINA
Before booking a train, check the station you are selecting carefully.
To travel by train in China, it is recommended to arrive at the station at least 60 minutes before departure. The stations are very large and security checks can take time.
At the entrance to the Stations you will have to go through the checks (similar to those at the airport)
You must always have your passport handy that will function as a ticket and remember to check the departure gate number.
The gates to access the trains open about 15 minutes before departure, once closed you can no longer pass.
